That guy, Murphy.

Two-time Emmy-winner Murphy Gilson is a writer and director, with a long career in film and television, both on the studio/network side and as a filmmaker.

He’s had films play at festivals around the world. He’s had spots air in multiple Super Bowl games. He’s worked with John Goodman, Glenn Close, and Martin Sheen. Once he even got drunk with Tony Danza in the US Capital rotunda before it was cool.

His latest creative passion is photography, primarily bodies in motion. Evolving from his love of filmmaking, Murphy now attempts to construct rich emotional stories in a single frame. It’s a lot easier than making a whole, entire movie.

“It’s pretty easy to catch me looking good in photos, but Murphy has a certain art to it that stands out. Top notch.”
