That guy, Murphy.
Two-time Emmy-winner Murphy Gilson is a writer, director, and creative executive with a long experience in film and television, both on the studio/network side and as a filmmaker. He also bakes pies and makes pickles. Not sure which is cooler. He’s led teams in the launch of three television networks, had spots run in the Super Bowl, and was behind campaigns for hits like American Idol and misses like The 80’s Show.
He’s done content creation for such brands as the NFL, Honda, National Geographic, and Microsoft and had films tour at festivals around the world. He’s currently the Executive Creative Director at a place that isn’t quite sure what they’ve gotten themselves into with this guy.
His latest creative passion is photography, telling cinematic stories with bodies in motion.
“Writing dialog is like hitting a fastball. You can either do it or your can’t. Murphy knocks it out of the park.”
— David Mamet
